The Nomadic Development Organization (NODO) is dedicated to assisting vulnerable communities in Somalia by transforming crises into opportunities for self-reliance. We support communities in recovering from disasters, building resilience, strengthening their capacity to withstand sudden shocks, and finding their own solutions. Our work spans across emergency response and developmental programs, including Health, WASH, Nutrition, Education in Emergency (EIE), and Resilience programs, which encompass climate change adaptation and environmental conservation. Additionally, we provide safe spaces and dignified case management for internally displaced women and girls.
NODO is currently implementing the BRAC project, aimed at ‘Building local resilience and adaptation to climate change’, in partnership with the Development Fund of Norway (DF). To support this initiative, NODO invites bids for the provision of Refreshment, Lunch and venue for 50 training participants in Laag village. A capable vendor will be selected through a competitive tendering process, and the quality of the distributed seeds and tools will be supervised by a NODO BRAC officer as per the advertisement.
We are seeking applications from reputable and financially stable vendors with extensive experience and the capability to provide hospitality services to the targeted village in the Bosaso district. The project will be implemented from June 20th, 2024, to June 23rd, 2024. Qualified vendors are required to submit their expression of interest and a filled-out Bill of Quantities (BoQ) template to NODO Garowe before the closing date specified in the bid advertisement.

Submission Procedures:
Offers must be received before the deadline of June 10th, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
Completed tender documents, clearly marked with the EOI number being bid for, must be deposited at the NODO Garowe Office before the deadline date and time. All submissions must be recorded in the logbook/letter.
Formal bids must be submitted on official company letterhead, duly signed and stamped. Each bid must include the following information:
– Full Company Name
– Physical Address
– Contact Telephone Number and Email Address
– Directors’ Names, Addresses, and Telephone Numbers
Pre-requisites for eligibility are as follows:
To be eligible to participate in this tender procedure, tenderers must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Contracting Authority that they comply with the necessary legal, technical, and financial requirements and have the capability to effectively execute the contract. Technical and financial submissions must be detailed and explicit. Experienced contractors are invited to apply for this opportunity.

NODO does not undertake to pay in advance of work.
NODO reserves the right to accept or reject any offer before the award of a contract or to cancel the bidding process and reject all offers at any time and is not bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
Incomplete offers or offers which do not comply with any of our tender conditions will not be considered. Quotations should remain valid for a period of at least 90 calendar days after the closure of the tender.
It is the Agency’s policy to keep all tender values in confidence.
- Payment:
Upon contracting for works, the Agency will pay the contractors in installments as will be defined in the signed contracts.
