As one of the multi-sectoral local organizations in Somalia, Nomadic Development Organization (NODO) help vulnerable communities in distress and turn their crisis to opportunities and self-reliance. We help communities recover from disaster, build resilient communities, strengthen their capacity to with stand sudden shocks and find their own solutions.
NODO works in emergency response programs Including Health, WASH, Nutrition, Education in Emergency (EIE) and Resilience programs including climate change adaptation and Environmental conservation among others. We help internally displaced women and girls access safe spaces and dignified case managements.
Nomadic Development Organization (NODO) is implementing an integrated Health and WASH project titled ‘Provision of integrated lifesaving WASH and Health services to conflict affected population in Xudun district of Sool region’ in partnership with OCHA Somalia. For this purpose, NODO is inviting to bid for the procurement of emergency medical supplies for the health service delivery by capable vendors selected through a competitive tendering process and NODO project implementation team will supervise quality and consistency of the contents of the supplies as per the advert.
NODO hereby invites applications to establish contract with reputable and financially stable vendors with vast experience in medical supplies capable of procuring emergency medical supplies for primary health care service delivery in the targeted health facilities, Primary health units and mobile sites in Xudun district as specified in the bid advert that will be implemented from 1st May 2023 to 31st Oct 2023. The vendors with capacities and can fulfil the required qualifications will be required to submit their expression of interest and the BoQ template filled out to NODO Garowe before the closing dates as stated above:

Submission Procedures:
Offers must be received before the deadline which is on 26th April 2023 at 05:00 PM hours.
Completed tender documents clearly marked with the EOI Number bided for must be deposited at the NODO Garowe Office before the deadline date and time, and recorded in the log book/ letter.
Formal bids being submitted must be on formal company letters, duly signed and stamped must indicate the Full Company Name, Physical Address, Contact Telephone Number/contact Email address, Directors Names, addresses and their telephone numbers.
Pre-requisites for eligibility are as follows:
To be eligible for participation in this tender procedure, tenderers must prove to the satisfaction of the Contracting Authority that they comply with the necessary legal, technical and financial requirements and have the wherewithal to carry out the contract effectively. Technical and financial submissions must be very explicit. Interested Experienced contractor are invited apply this opportunity.

- Past Experience-Provide references of the previous works or goods supplied before (attach Recommendation letter or Previous Agreements

NODO does not undertake to pay in advance of work.
NODO reserves the right to accept or reject any offer before the award of a contract, or to cancel the bidding process and reject all offers at any time and is not bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
Incomplete offers or offers which do not comply with any of our tender conditions will not be considered. Quotations should remain valid for a period of at least 90 calendar days after closure of the tender.
It is the Agency’s policy to keep all tender values in confidence.
- Payment:
Upon contracting for works, the Agency will pay the contractors in instalments as will be defined in the signed contracts.
