Project Officer-Nutrition
The Role:
The Project Officer-Nutrition will oversee the field level implementation of Nutrition project activities in target location as per national and international standards. The position holder will also be responsible for the supervision and support of nutrition activities. S/he will work closely with other Project Officers- Nutrition and Health and under the supervision of Project Manager to ensure the commodities received from UNICEF are managed properly.

- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Quality and Timely Reporting
- Capacity Building
- Finance and Budget Management
- Representation and Internal & External Coordination.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public health or any other related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in supervising implementation of nutrition projects in emergency response context with extensive government engagement experience.
- Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates good problem-solving skills; keen attention to detail with an analytic approach to work.
- An aptitude for working in a changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and alone, supervised or unsupervised.
- Relevant experience and ability to manage projects in insecure environments.
- Experience of working with and/ or commitment to humanitarian standards e.g. SPHERE.

Working Environment:
The position is field-based in Borama, Somaliland with frequent travel to other target project locations.
