JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Admin, Admin specifically is responsible to provide support to provide effective transport facilitation to Islamic Relief Somaliland Hargeisa Office Program staff in order in term of looking after of all operational day to day work of , the Driver must be able to effectively communicate Islamic Relief Somaliland purpose and demonstrate quality of commitment and integrity that that serves as an example to others
SCOPE OF ROLE:
To provide effective transport facilitation to Islamic Relief Somaliland Burao Office Program staff in order to attain the objectives of the organization in order to successfully do so, the Driver must be able to effectively communicate Islamic Relief Somaliland purpose and demonstrate quality of commitment and integrity that that serves as an example to others
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his or her roles and responsibilities in line with Islamic values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and staff. This includes but not limited to:
-Responsible of IRS fleet management both IR cars and hired vehicles as well;
- Provision of reliable and secure driving services including under harsh and difficult driving conditions outside Hargeisa/Burao Togdheer
- Proper use of vehicle
- Day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle
- Maintenance of required documents/supplies
- Immediate action in case of accident
- Provides reliable and secure driving services by a) driving vehicles safely for the transport of authorized personnel and, in the case of construction (Infrastructure) for the transport of logistics and/or project equipment etc.; b) collecting and delivering project equipment’s, , documents and other items; and c) meeting official personnel at the airport and facilitating immigration clearance
- Ensures proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
- Ensures the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle by checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.; performing minor repairs and arranging for major repairs; and ensuring that the vehicle is kept clean.
- Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts.
- Ensures that immediate steps as required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident.

QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate in Secondary school, diploma for any field or another related Field.
-An updated CV; and · An application letter
· -A-Academic Qualifications (certificates/Transcripts)
-Copy of your National ID card or passport
-Contact information for three work-related referees

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
–High school certificate, diploma or any other related certificate.
-At least two years of experience of NGOs or any other private companies. INGOs experience will be value added.
-Understand well south-central context and have no limitations of any place.
-Speak Somali language fluently, English speaking person will be extra value added.
